Child's Play Touring Theatre (CPTT) offers a variety of educational programs for students and teachers alike. Some of these programs include writing workshops for students in school and after school programs and summer camps for children and teens, also professional development for educators.

Most of our productions that we have created can included writtings in the "New Voice " option, ie: "The Great Green Adventures of Rman and Earth Kid", "Kids in Charge" and Peace by Piece are all accepting new stories!

Notable Projects

Over 40 years, CPTT has produced a number of notable shows and educational programs.
Some of these projects include:

Kids for President! - (1988, 1992, 1996, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024) Produced in election years, "Kids for President" gives children "a unique opportunity to learn about the issues that are important to them and the election." We also performed "Kids for President!" at the Chicago Theatre for the book signing of Hillary Clinton's,
"It Takes a Village".

Hands Together, Heart to Art - (2005, 2006) - A summer program for children who have experienced the death of one or both parents. Hands Together, Heart to Art became a finalist in the NCASS Creative and Innovative Awards Program.

The Great Green Adventures of R-Man and Earth Kid - (2010–Present) A comic book style show based on stories and poems written by children from around the country that shows how kids think the planet can be saved.

Global Energy: The Musical! - (2011) One most recent ongoing project focuses on different types of energy used throughout the world today and on global conservation efforts. This program also has digital backdrop and sound.

2024 Benefit Gala

On Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 6 pm - 9:30 pm, we are going to have a benefit program.

This will be our 46th Anniversary Gala of our founding.

We hope you join us and help Child's Play continue to have programs.

Our 40th Anniversary Celebration Videos

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary on September 24, 2018. We had live music, theatre, drinks, dinner, a silent auction and an award ceremony to celebrate our 40th Anniversary of our founding and Peace Initiative.

This fun event honored our Co-Founder Victor Podagrosi.
